On music

Allround musician

I have since I was really just a tiny boy been hooked on sound. The sounds of different instruments playing together and the different aspects of these sounds. Not so much style as just sounds. Does it sound good or does it sound "not so good"

I have heard a lot of music, from classical to avantgarde jazz to military band music to brass band to African to hip hop to traditional pop to early music to country to "traditional hip hop"?? to classical military jazz.

In my quest for "the perfect sound" I have played a lot of different styles and also different sounds, specially on my trumpet.

I love joking around on the trumpet and finding new sounds and new ideas. I have been experimenting with digital effects.Fun!!

I guess I really never got too involved with just one specific musician, one style or one sound, but always looked for ways to "mix" them together.

Trumpet Influences would be my teachers Jesper Riis, Kristian Steenstrup, old players like Clifford Brown, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Dizzie Gillespie, Chet Baker and Luis Armstrong. Amazing players like Wynton Marsalis, Kenny Wheeler, Roy Hargroove and Arturo Sandoval and I could go on and on.
