• 1998 – 2003. Trumpet postgraduate diploma from the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. Duration 5 years. (Diplom uddannelse)  
• Masterclasses  with amongst others Håkan Haardenberger, Matthias Hoffs, Adolph Herseth, John Kenny, David Liebmann, Marie Bergman, Dennis Mackrel, Lew Soloff and Tim Hagans.                  
• 1994 – 1997. High school graduate. Føroya studenta og HF skeið (Language)

• 2004 - Music educator at Faroese music school.
